GPS for waterfall: 34.81527, -83.27993
Water source: unmapped tributary to Chattooga River
Waterfall height: approximately 30′, with another 5-10′ runoff
Off-trail hiking and map reading experience are required for this hike. While it is mostly open woods, there are some thick spots of rhododendron to work through, and it is very steep near both Tilly Branch and the tributary where this waterfall sits. Extreme caution should be used.
This is a beautiful waterfall, with plenty of character, and a nice little rock overhang on river right. I named it Tilly’s Envy, simply because it doesn’t have a creek name of its own, and it sits near Tilly Branch.
