Horse Bone Falls

Unfortunately, Horse Bone Falls is a spectacular waterfall that is almost completely covered in downfall. 

There is no trail to Horse Bone Falls, though Thomas King does reference it in his book, Waterfall Hikes of Upstate South Carolina.  His directions bring you to this waterfall from above, descending steeply down the mountainside, but this waterfall is much easier accessed from below, following Horse Bone Branch upstream until you reach the falls.  Only those experienced with map reading and off-trail hiking should attempt to visit this waterfall.
